Sustainable Goals

Several of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) align closely with UNI-FLY’s activities, particularly regarding health and safety, environmental protection, sustainable operations, and social responsibility.
Our initiatives contribute to goals such as:

UNI-FLY Sustainable Goals

Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being
UNI-FLY’s HSE policy (Health, Safety, Environment) and focus on employee health and safety, including risk management, preparedness, and safety training, support this goal. UNI-FLY actively works to ensure a healthy work environment and prevent workplace accidents, especially in their offshore helicopter operations.

Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy
With a goal to reduce environmental impact and use resources more efficiently, UNI-FLY contributes to the sustainable energy agenda. Their focus on emission reduction and energy efficiency in operations and maintenance aligns with Goal 7’s aim to promote sustainable energy.

Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
UNI-FLY creates jobs in flight operations and aircraft maintenance and ensures a safe work environment through HSE procedures. Their commitment to continuous improvement in working conditions and safety helps promote a decent workplace and contributes to economic growth.

Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
UNI-FLY is engaged in innovative solutions within helicopter operations, including offshore installations, wind turbine inspections, and energy infrastructure inspections. They also maintain high standards of aviation safety and quality, contributing to the development of safe and efficient industrial infrastructure.

Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
UNI-FLY actively works to minimise waste, reduce emissions, and use resources efficiently. They have established procedures for waste management, recycling, and pollution reduction, which help ensure responsible consumption and production.

Goal 13: Climate Action
UNI-FLY is committed to reducing its climate footprint, including CO₂ emissions, through optimised flight operations and maintenance. By implementing sustainable initiatives that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adopt green technologies, UNI-FLY contributes to efforts against climate change.

Goal 14: Life Below Water
With many operations near offshore installations and marine areas, UNI-FLY has a direct interest in protecting the marine environment. They consider the environmental impact of their activities and work to minimise pollution, which helps protect marine ecosystems.

Goal 15: Life on Land
As part of their environmental focus, UNI-FLY has taken initiatives to protect biodiversity and ecosystems, both on land and near offshore operations. Their emphasis on reducing the use of harmful chemicals and ensuring responsible waste management supports this goal.

Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals
UNI-FLY collaborates with various suppliers, authorities, and clients in the EU and UK to ensure compliance with the highest standards in safety, quality, and environment. By establishing strong partnerships and working with other actors in the sector, UNI-FLY contributes to achieving global sustainability goals.
